Well to start out we left Friday morning to head to Anchorage for some errands...
then about a mile down the road, hit a bit of a detour....
the cement pillar in the median of the road.
Needless to say the truck is now at the repair shop and our necks were sore
for about a day, but everyone was fine otherwise.

We needed to get out and get some fresh air, so we took the girls for a hike.

We live in an amazing place and the scenery is so breathtaking it almost doesn't seem real
We bought these backpacks on craigslist and this was the first time
we used them....they are awesome! We went about three miles and the girls did great,
Megan got out and walked for about the last 1/2 mile.
I tried to get a picture of the frost here...it just keeps growing on things like moss
A pretty eventful weekend, but we're very grateful that the accident wasn't anything serious
and that we're able to enjoy this great place that we are blessed to live in.

gorgeous! But It looks COLD! How do you like living there? Do you miss being wtihin 6 hrs of family?
Wow! that is gorgeous! But much too cold! Glad you guys are doing well and THAT NO one got hurt in that scary accident!
