Hanauma Bay and Hawaii Kai

Sorry if your getting tired of these posts.....last one of Hawaii :)

Our very last night we drove out to Hanauma Bay. We were too late to make it to
the beach so we stopped on top of the hill and watched the
sunset over Hawaii Kai.
The trip was absolutely amazing and nowhere near long enough for me.....
I would definitely recommend  staying outside of Honolulu if you ever make it out
to Ohau, being outside of the hussle and bussle of the city was great,
all though it was cool to see all the shops of things that I've only ever seen in magazines :)
The people there are so friendly and were so fun to be around
Goodbye beautiful warmth, sand and ocean!

Just Bumming Around

Kisses for Daddy

This was by far the girls most favorite activity....
Snorkeling on "our beach"

Casey in action...I love this feature on my camera :)

On our last night we decided to try out the pool....
it was much colder than the ocean! so we didn't last very long :)

Shark Tours and Whales

Beautiful sunrise on the way to the shark cage. We had to go on separate days, these pics
are from Casey's morning

A Boobi bird (I have no idea if that's the correct spelling) he would just sit
on top of the cage and watch us
 A whale blow hole!!
 a back
 a tail

It was so awesome to get in the water with the sharks. They were galapagus sharks, about 7 to 11 feet
long. They were so close, Casey was crazy and reached out and touched one of the back fins!!

Seeing the whales was pretty awesome too, we got to see a couple of them jump
out of the water, we're excited to see them up here in Alaska in the summer :)

Laie Hawaii Temple

This was the most beautiful stop on our trip, but maybe that's
because the girls were asleep in the car :)

The history of this temple is so neat, the missionary couple that was at the
visitor center were from Utah, they showed us the video on how the church
did so much for the people here. Neat, neat, neat. They had a trivia game about temple
geography and I totally beat Casey, hehehehehe.
I love the temple, you can learn more about it here or here if you want :)
