Christmas Day

Merry Christmas Mom!
Merry Christmas Dad!

The kids loot ready to be discovered

I finally woke Megan up at 8 'cause I was too excited for her to see all the presents

and the destruction of the loot...

I would say this is her favorite toy...the table and chairs, along with the scissors :)

We have been so blessed this year, with Casey finishing school and getting a great job up here in Alaska. We are loving it up here, absolutely beautiful, super cold but nothing we're not used to in Idaho :) Our awesome house, great ward family and friends, the list could go on and on. We hope everyone is doing well and has had a very Merry Christmas!!

Santa's Reindeer

There was a Christmas Tree lighting in Downtown Anchorage the day after Thanksgiving.
We were too late to see the Tree lighting, and it was too darn cold to wait in the long
line to see Santa, but we got to pet his reindeer :)
I think this was Prancer
and Megan's cheesy grin

Sunsets

This is the view from the apartment in Anchorage
I got to watch a beautiful sunset every afternoon :)

The New Place

Welcome Home!!
It's starting to feel like home anyway,
This picture was taken on Casey's iphone, from our car, before we moved in....
so those are not our cars, and this is the only picture of it that I got before it was,
and will be until June, covered in snow.
We are so excited and grateful that we were able to find this place and get in by Christmas.
Merry Christmas to us!
More pictures to come...

House

Well.....could buying a house be any more complicated? Probably, but I am soo ready to just be in our house allready! We're waiting on another inspection but hopefully we will be all moved in by the 18th. Man these last two months have dragged by and I'm sure the next week will as well. Mostly I can't wait to have internet access again! :)
I have been working on a quilt for Megan, which I just finished today, to try and make the time go faster.
Here's hoping the inspection goes well and we can get into our house soon!

Hapy Thanksgiving!

Still no Internet or access to pictures but if you could see out my window you would see big snowflakes, a grey sky, and beautiful winter wonderland.
I'm thinking about family today as we spend our first holidays away from any family, we miss everyone but are having a great time getting ready for our thanksgiving dinner.
I'm so grateful for the many blessings we've received this past year, our cups are really overflowing.

Perfect Beach Day

While Daddy and Grandpa drove through Canada to our new place in Alaska we were hanging out with our cousins at the beach.
This day turned out to be absolutely perfect....the kids had a blast!

Exploring with sticks and under rocks

Climbing....

Sandy feet!

I'm missing the beach today as I watch the snow flow down in the darkness of an Alaskan witner...

I am super excited for Christmas though :)
