Festival at Ross Park

This Saturday, Ross Park had a family day with a bunch of booths set up with free activities for kids. Most of the stuff was for older kids but Megan got a sweet balloon dog from one of the clowns and we scored some free cotton candy :)I think it's really funny how she's crossing her legs in this picture

16 Months

So Megan is 16 months old. I don't have any pictures for this post but just a few funny characteristics. She is such a happy kid, likes to explore and is so funny, especially in the mornings she's in such a goofy mood and the first thing she does is ask for candy. Her new favorite food is pickles, she has gone over to the dark side. It used to be that as soon as I would open the fridge she would go for her milk but now it's straight to the pickle jar. Her vocabulary is growing so fast, she'll say daddy, mom, baby, bird, dog, hi, thank you, please, candy, sock, yuck. She has a bunch of animal sounds as well, my favorite is the cat. She is such a little copy cat, it's so interesting to see her interpretation of what I'm doing. She has started to try and sing, it is so funny, "aaaahhhhh, gurgle gurgle" I'll have to post a video.

Lagoon

Yesterday we went to Lagoon! We got some discount tickets and went with some friends from Casey's program. It was such a blast.
Here are Casey and Megan on a little rollercoaster.Casey throwing megan into the air, she did so good through out the day to wait while we were in line for rides. (Casey's face is so funny in this picture)
Here is the carousel, Megan loved this ride, she loved to go around to all the animals and give them kisses.
Megan and Casey waited in line for about 20 minutes for this ride and then as soon as Casey walked away Megan freaked out and wanted out of the boat.

It was loads of fun and Megan did so well without a nap and staying up late. This was the second time I had ever been on a roller coaster and man they are awesome, if you've ever been to Lagoon my favorite is the mouse roller coaster :)

More soccer

Finally got my camera back :) (thanks stef) So here is the Real Salt Lake Soccer game we went to with Stef and Cory. We got there early so we dropped the boys off at the stadium and went to Tai Pan (i'm not sure how to spell that) oh man, if we had a house to decorate and money to do it with I would have spent a lot there :) The guys had a blast winning t-shirts and soccer balls at the carnival before the game.


I love this picture of Megan, she fell asleep with her binki but once it fell out her lips were stuck in the same position.

Another Video!

Woohoo, another video! :) Here are Megan's dancing moves. She is using our neighbors' barbie car. It is so hilarious, aahh kids :)

Movie Time

So after many hours and many oreos.......here is my first blog video. Sorry if it is long and boring, this is our little fishing trip we took with Grandma and Grandpa Schanz. 'Lot's of fun :) Oh, pay no attention to the random clip of Carter, I don't know how to edit that out yet.
