Super Mom

The everyday cleaning, diapers, naps, dinner, bath time and bed time can get a little monotonous but just add a super duper awesome apron and it all seems a little more fun! (pay no attention to the mess behind me :)

Oh yea, and I lost 5 pounds this past month, best Mother's Day present ever, what what!!

Alphabet Bean Bags

I saw this cool idea HERE and wanted to make these alphabet bean bags. I used some scrap fabric I had left over from Megan's Halloween costume and a couple of old t-shirts. Super easy but a bit time consuming, hence the reason I'm only on K, (I messed up G and haven't gotten around to redoing it).

And I thought I would throw in a random shot of Megan and I :)

Interview

Casey had his second face-to-face interview in Yakima, WA last week and we were able to go with him. The interview went really well and we really like the area. I was only able to get a few pics of Megan before the stupid batteries in my camera died. But, we were also able to meet up with my fam for a day while we were there, woohoo! It was nice to see them and hang out for a bit.

Sword Fight?

We found the hood to one of Megan's coats while cleaning out a closet today and she thought it was a great hat, as well as the vacuum cleaner attachment as a sword........I don't know where she gets these ideas :)

Shirt Dress

Here is the newest craft, another dress for Megan made out of a man's button up shirt.

Sleeping Mommy

So I'm putting Megan down for bedtime by using the old,

pretend to be asleep trick, when she leans over,

her nose to my nose and asks, " Doing mommy?"

I manage to keep still for about 2 seconds until she asks again, "Doing mommy? Doing?"

Then the chuckle of laughter escapes my throat as I say, "I'm sleeping Megan."

She replies "Megan sleeping too mommy....(pause)....and talking"
