Oh blessed internet

I'm sneeking on the internet at work, because we no longer have internet at home. We have successfully moved across town into Chubbuck. So no more internet, no more TV........I've been going a little crazy so Megan and I went to the pet store yesterday and played with the puppies, the pet store guy got a basset hound out for us, soo cute! Megan spent the rest of the afternoon saying, "hi puppy!" over and over. The new place is very nice, it's only a few years old and has a dishwasher, washer and dryer and central air. I hooked up the nintendo last night and Casey and I had a blast playing mario kart, we're going to get the track pad out tonight and have a track meet in our living room.....that's right the original nintendo track pad, classic. Megan has done really well in a new place, she has really started to talk up a storm, it is so funny to hear her. anyway that's a little update about us. we should be getting connected to the cyber world here pretty soon so some pictures to come.....

FHE

Casey's mom has put together an amazing FHE book for all ages, kids to teens and adults. Here is a link to her blog with a few sample lessons. Festival at Ross Park

This Saturday, Ross Park had a family day with a bunch of booths set up with free activities for kids. Most of the stuff was for older kids but Megan got a sweet balloon dog from one of the clowns and we scored some free cotton candy :)I think it's really funny how she's crossing her legs in this picture

16 Months

So Megan is 16 months old. I don't have any pictures for this post but just a few funny characteristics. She is such a happy kid, likes to explore and is so funny, especially in the mornings she's in such a goofy mood and the first thing she does is ask for candy. Her new favorite food is pickles, she has gone over to the dark side. It used to be that as soon as I would open the fridge she would go for her milk but now it's straight to the pickle jar. Her vocabulary is growing so fast, she'll say daddy, mom, baby, bird, dog, hi, thank you, please, candy, sock, yuck. She has a bunch of animal sounds as well, my favorite is the cat. She is such a little copy cat, it's so interesting to see her interpretation of what I'm doing. She has started to try and sing, it is so funny, "aaaahhhhh, gurgle gurgle" I'll have to post a video.
