2 Year Old
I can't believe Megan is two! Her birthday was yesterday the 8th but we celebrated with Casey's family on Saturday. We took the kids to Teton Sprectrum Raceway, where they have some huge bouncy houses and slides. The kids had a blast and then we went out for some ice cream and presents.
Megan is such a hoot. Full of attitude and so independent. We are slowly working on potty training but she is more interested in running around naked than sitting on the potty. She loves to sing and dance and watch Madagascar 2 (Animals), and Fern Gully (Fairies). She still loves to take care of her animals and babies. Her favorite food is peanut butter and grapes, and peach yogurt.
She is constantly talking and I'm always so surprised by what she picks up from Casey and I. She has started to say everything twice, "Hi mommy, mommy" or "hi teddy, teddy" She can recognize a few letters and her name, Casey has been teaching her some portuguese and she does really well, I think she knows about 10 animals. I say think because I have no idea what they're saying :) She knows her colors really well and we're working on counting but she mostly just says "one, one, one" for everything.
The other day we were driving by the temple and she said "hi moroni!" It's just amazing how fast they learn.

An update on Casey, this is his last week at the pediatrics in Rexburg and then he will be going to Pocatello for his OB/GYN rotation. Only 4 more rotations to go!! woo woo!
I have a week and a half left before the due date.....and pretty much ready to not be prego anymore :)

Shirt Dress
So here's another project. I saw this free tutorial here. And thought I would give it a try. She turns an old men's shirt into a cute little dress. My dress didn't turn out anywhere near as cute as hers but what can you do?
Here's the before shot:
And here are a few shots of Megan modeling her new dress:

The sleeves are a little goofy. There was elastic around her arms but she didn't like it so I just took it out and left the sleeves open. It's fun for just playing around the house. I'm going to try another one with a dark green shirt, we'll see how it turns out :)
